Ms. Lysanne Burke, a French speaking native of Quebec, Canada, began her career in interactive technology with the Seattle Washington based company Advanced Acoustical Concepts (AAC). She joined the team of AAC lead by creator and technologist, Mr. Bill Othick. The obscure but viable AAC received its first request from the Defense Intelligence Agency (D.I.A.) to build a Secure Compartmented Information Facility or SCIF. This room was used to support Desert Shield (much later known as operation Dessert Storm). Four years later, the group was invited to Dayton Ohio on a support contract for Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). This was to protect numerous facilities with both NOPASS (Noise Operated Perimeter Security System) and new techniques to protect sensitive information. AAC was then asked to recommend electronic security for Voice, Video and Fax. The company developed multiple products to support these technologies. For obvious reasons, this led to other contracts with U.S. Air Force and Navy bases who quickly adopted the products.
In 1992, ACC was sold for a substantial profit. Soon thereafter, Mr. Othick and Ms. Burke developed BOI Solutions, an interactive technology company with a strong focus on communication. The partners recognized that the collaboration meeting environment resolution continued to grow at an accelerated pace, redefining how we convey thoughts, share ideas and work together globally. They noticed the combination of electronic mediums using collaboration, VOIP, Video Over IP, VOD, and IM meeting tools coupled with traditional multimedia tools is changing the way we meet and conduct business. These changes have been responsible for a new product line created by BOI Solutions known as Media Integration.
Media Integration allows the elimination of spatial constraints permitting the creation of VIRTUAL TEAMS. This enables corporations to distribute the knowledge strength of their employees directly to where the resource is required, without disrupting the individual's life with extensive, costly travel and time away from home.
In 2007, Ms. Burke became President/CEO and majority owner of BOI Solutions located in the heart of Miamisburg, Ohio. It had become increasingly obvious to Bill that Lysanne’s ability to manage and direct the organization was the stabilizing factor needed to allow him to concentrate 100% of his time developing new technology. Lysanne’s "behind the scenes" approach has helped BOI Solutions become well known among various organizations, corporations, and quasi government entities for providing cutting-edge technology.
Today, through technological innovation, keen business strategy, and aggressive competitive tactics, she and her partner have built one of the foremost Media products company in the world. BOI Solutions has expanded to conduct business in the UK.

Lysanne Burke, Before Media Integration
Originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Ms. Burke was invited by a former employer, Hunter Douglas to move to the U.S. with the understanding that Hunter Douglas (Maywood, New Jersey) would pay for her Green Card; which they did in 1983. (She became a United States citizen in 2009.)
Her experience involved working with executives; with great expectations on juggling their daily correspondence, scheduling high profile meetings, travel arrangements, U.S. wide, and Europe. Computers were just around the corner. One and a half years later the company moved the linear metal ceiling division of Hunter Douglas to Atlanta, GA, and Ms. Burke moved with them.
In 1984 there was a re-shuffling in their organization which eliminated in part some of the executives she was working for. Not waiting for the "other shoe to drop" she found another organization, General Atomics (nuclear power company based in California), who was looking for an administrator who spoke French. In conjunction with that, Framatome SA, (another nuclear power company based out of France), worked with General Atomics; each with side by side offices in Atlanta, GA.
During her tenure at General Atomics, Lysanne became acquainted with a technologist, Bill Othick, who piqued her interest because of his forward thinking and ingenuity. Their thoughts and dreams of building a company specializing in technology enabling communications fast became a reality. In 1988 Ms. Burke made the life altering decision to move to Seattle, WA where she began to work with Bill Othick who had just formed AAC. Their successes have surpassed each one’s goals and aspirations.
